Happy and Grateful – Day 309

November brings a chill in the air and the start of the holiday gatherings of family and friends.  I can’t believe I am down to the last two month of my challenge to find happiness and feel gratitude every day.  I hope you join with me in the comments or your own blog in this challenge.  No matter how small there is always a little good in even the worst day.

I enjoy getting an “extra” hour of sleep when the clocks change, but I hate that it gets dark so early now.  How much longer until the days start growing longer?  Google said December 21st… that is still more than a month and a half away; too long of a wait if you ask me.  Oh well, it just means the daylight hours are that much more precious and we need to appreciate them.  And that is what I was grateful for this afternoon.  We finally had a break from the clouds and saw the sun!  It was nice to feel it streaming in through the window.  Only drawback is that it will be cold tonight with no clouds to hold in the heat.

I had a quick 5 minutes of happiness tonight.  When I went to my Dad’s to get him dinner I stopped by my daughter’s apartment and picked up laundry she needs done.  So I have a little work to do tomorrow but at least I got to see her for a short while tonight.  It always makes me happy to see her.

Now I want to pose a question to all of you… what am I going to do when my year is over in less than two months?  I think a year is more than long enough for my happiness and gratitude posts, but what should I do next?  I have a couple of ideas but would really like to hear your input.  Thanks for taking the time to read this and remember to find your happiness and feel your gratitude.  Have a wonderful night/day!

      1. Hmm…u already do daily post don’t u. Might be nice to just do what u want when u want . i was posting everyday but it made me somewhat tense 🙂

      2. It can be stressful trying to come up with something everyday… but that has been my one and only new years resolution that I have actually kept so far (aside from the nights fatigue knocks me out with laptop in hand before I get my posts done). I might switch things up and blog about the daily prompt, and only do poems as they come to me. Might do the blogging courses offered. Lots of ideas still…

  1. Wow, awesome weblog layout! How lengthy have you ever been running a blog for? you made running a blog glance easy. The full glance of your site is wonderful, as neatly as the content material!

  2. Valuable information. Lucky me I discovered your website accidentally, and I am shocked why this accident didn’t happened earlier! I bookmarked it.
