Lone Survivor

She looked around the room and let out a big sigh, “Mom I just don’t know what I am going to do with all this stuff.” Her eyes started to glisten with tears and her mother walked towards her.

“Honey it doesn’t have to be done today, there is no timeline to get rid of your father’s things. He took a lifetime to assemble them, you cannot expect to go through them in one day. Take it room by room. And we’ll haul out what needs to go.”

“I just wish he was still here.” she said shedding a tear.
