Three Day Quote Challenge – Day 3

I have been nominated by Fandango over at This, That, And The Other for the three-day quote challenge. Thanks Fandango for this opportunity to share some of my favorite words!

First the rules:
1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Post a quote for three consecutive days – one quote per day.
3. Nominate three bloggers each day and let them know about it.

My first two days (Day 1 and Day 2) I focused on a person and today it is more of a topic search I did.  I looked at dance (as my dance class in high school taught me things unrelated to dance I still use to this day), writing (that should be obvious why) and finally music.  I settled on a quote by another woman I admire greatly.

“Music was my refuge.  I could crawl into the spaces between the notes and curl my back to loneliness.”  – Maya Angelou

There are so many things music can do for me.  It can take me back to wonderful memories, it can inspired hopes and dream and as Ms Angelou said it can make loneliness disappear.  The right song can move your emotions and turn a day around.  And if it is an unbelievable energy level you want, nothing beats live music.

So now that I have finished the challenge I am supposed to nominate another three bloggers.  Except I HATE leaving anyone out so instead of just three I open the challenge up to anyone interested in it.  If you choose to do it please link back to my page so I can read what you have picked.

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day/night!

  1. There is no doubt that music changes our emotions. I minored in music in college, and later realized it controlled me. Depending on the genre, I was either in or out of a good mood.
