He was an officer of the law…
He never made others feel guilty
He would mitigate the situation
And calm all of those involved
He became the one in charge
And his men all liked him
He expected work to be done
But he was not against a little fun
He gave more than 40 years
To protect and to serve
I salute him for what he did
And the things that he went through
He comanded the men during some riots
He captured a couple of murderers
He assisted after a bomb went off in the jail
Robberies and accidents
Assaults and tickets
All dealt with using a delicate tact…
This captain will be missed
