In The Name Of Love

He stands in the corner

A grin upon his face.

I know he’s up to something.

What trouble will he instigate?

Then I see his target.

The grin grows on his face,

Giving away the truth.

To stop it, I may be too late.

But I slowly approach the victim,

Afraid to get caught in the fire,

And whisper the dangers ahead.

She just turns to me and smiles.

She knows what is coming

And doesn’t mind at all.

Because she knows he likes her,

Their true love is quite bizarre.
