Give In A Little

When I first saw the word for the day I instantly thought of Diamond Rio’s Meet In The Middle. And yes, it was obviously made in the 80’s.  Enjoy the video then take a look at the poem I came up with…

You moved away

I cried night and day

You said you’d call

That was last fall

But now you’ve returned

And your single I’ve learned

So if I give some space

Will you come to my place

Giving in a little bit

Our love may still fit

Meet me halfway

I want you to stay

Lean on me just a little

We can meet in the middle

Our love is still hot

Don’t tell me it’s not

With an embrace and a kiss

We will be in pure bliss
