“Mom I have to do a display board for my report. Can we go and get some supplies?”
“Yes, I need to get some supplied myself for my Christmas cards I am making. Let’s go get some things at Hobby Lobby.”
“But you are not going to take forever, are you? You were in there an hour last time I went with you.”
“There is a lot to see in the store. And besides, it was only 50 minutes not an hour.”
“Picky, picky! Hey, can we get some of those lights to use on the board?”
“Sure, we can.”

This could have easily been a conversation between me and my daughter when she was in school. I fall into some weird time warp in the store than makes the time pass without me noticing it. Longest I have been in there is just a little over an hour…and it felt like maybe 15 minutes. Yes, I know I have a problem… ha, ha, ha.

Very real conversation. Most kids get bored when we are picking our stuff in a store.
Thanks Sadje!
You’re welcome 😉
I refuse to shop at Hobby Lobby for political reason and it’s position to not cover birth control for women on “moral” and “religious” grounds.
It is really our only option for crafts in town. Walmart has the second most stuff and then JoAnn’s which is 80% fabric. I stay away from Chick fil a for their political or religious reasons.
“I stay away from Chick fil a for their political or religious reasons.” Me too.
