What Am I Saying

We were on vacation in New York.  Walking the busy streets seeing all the sites.  And when we turned the corner we saw the biggest edifice.  It stood as tall and looming as his ego.  My friend turned to me and smiled, “It is his place.  I never thought I would see it.”

“I can’t believe I am here either,” I said.  “What a great leader he was.  He took us through so much and we came out better for it.  And now his daughter is at the helm.”

My alarm went off and I woke from the nightmare.
