Camera in hand
She sees all the sights
Oohing and Ahhing
At all of the lights
Christmas in the city
A first for her to see
A holiday of magic
Of course for a fee
But she is willing to pay
For a chance to be happy
For life back at home
Had become, well crappy
So a tourist she’ll be
For this holiday season
And grab what she can
And this is the reason
He doesn’t love her
He at least doesn’t show it
And her freedom she feels
She is wanting to grow it
So Christmas in the city
Is what she has planned
and on her two feet
she will forever now stand
