Too Good To Be True

He was taken in by her beauty

He felt alive the first moment

When she gently touched him

Her eyes made him feel faint

Dreams played in his mind

Of the future they could have

But her love was poison

She had deceit in her heart

She played him for all he had

And walked out the door smiling
