Can I?

How can I quit you?

You meant the world to me.

You made me feel safe.

You were my comfort zone.

We made each other happy.

We shared so many laughs.

We were electric together.

How can I quit you,

When you were the best thing in my life?

I can’t, can I?

Forever Told

The words just fly

Off into the universe

And just like words spoken

There is no recalling them

Once you hit send

Your words will be online forever

So choose what you write

With great care and wisdom

And be gentle in what you say

Forever Again

You have a history with her

One I could never compete with

She once was in all your thoughts

Your dreams

Your breaths

Your heartbeats

You swore you’d love her forever

But things changed for her

And you never did get to say goodbye

In the blink of an eye she was gone

I know the end was rough

And you still love the woman she once was

I will never try to fill her shoes

Nor will I hurt you like she did

You have to put your trust in me

And believe me when I say

You are always in my thoughts

My dreams

My breaths

My heartbeats

And I will love you forever…

Flirting drew us to each other

Passion fueled us for a time

A deep friendship bonded us

It was a perfect forever

You and me

But things fell apart

You slowly disappeared

Until I was completely lost

Just tell me if you are done

Stop dragging my heart around

Can I take a moment

To look into your eyes

To see in their reflection

The way you’re idolized

Can I feel the warm embrace

Of our entwined shared love

This connection feels like

It was sent from up above

Can I show you the magic

That I feel from just your touch

Making me realize inside

Forever is not too much

Can we share eternity

Or will you turn and go

Tell me soon I beg of you

I really have to know
