Keep Walking

The road ahead is treacherous at best

Filled with holes and obstacles

Its aim is to slow or stop me

But I can be determined

And some day I will make it

Following the route before me

Leading to a better life

Fandango’s Friday Flashback – April 17th

It is once again time to go back in time to find an old post from my archives of posts for FFF and share something that may be new to you.  This poem was first posted on April 17th in 2017 here.  It was for a daily prompt of climbing.  I hope you enjoy it!

It is an uphill climb

The daily struggle called life

You have to keep moving forward

Or you will lose your momentum

Rocks and bushes will try to slow you down

But obstacles are no match

For sheer determination and survival instincts

The ultimate view from the top

Will be worth the journey of strife

So whatever you do

Just keep climbing
