Play the Game

Life has dealt me cards

That didn’t amount to much

But I think I have learned

What to keep

And what to exchange

And maybe I can

Find myself a king

Or be influenced

By the queen of hearts

Maybe I’ll be stuck

With a joker in the end

Or maybe a full house

Whatever it is I draw

It will suit me just fine

Because I know the game

Is not over in one hand

Luck of the Draw

Karen stood up from the table and said, “Thanks boys.  This was quite the run of luck I had tonight.  I might dabble in poker more often if it is always like this.”

The men sitting around the table all looked dejected as Karen swept the winnings into her purse.
