Trouble With A Capitol T

Way back when my mind was affected… I would never look at the word “trouble” the same way again.  Travis Tritt tried to alter my view in 1992 but The Music Man kept me locked in with “a capitol T and that rhymes with P and that stands for “pool.””

Here is the Trouble song from The Music Man…

And Travis Tritt’s attempt to sway me…

For Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (FOWC) – trouble

Escape

One thing after another

The problems compound

But I still have a way to escape

And keep my sanity

A walk in the sunshine

A breath of fresh air

The birds singing

The flowers blooming

So I stop the chaos for a moment

And then return to face the troubles

If only you would see the truth

And admit your part in this

Until then I am alone in this battle

Anything

If there was a way to lessen your pain
I would do it
If there was a way to end the rain
I would do it
If there was a way to melt the worrries away
I would do it

I would do anything for you
Don’t you know
Anything for you

If there was a way to dissolve your troubles
I would do it
If there was a way to forever make you happy
I would do it
If there was a way to make you mine
I would do it

For now I am just here
Holding you near
Holding you tight
To get you through the night

If there was a way to make you mine
I would do it

I would do anything for you
Don’t you know
Anything for you
