Happy everything!

Many of you are spending the day with family and friends today celebrating Christmas. Some of you celebrated Hanukkah recently. And there are many other special days you may be celebrating around the world. So, instead of a simple Merry Christmas I wish all of you a happy everything! (((HUGS)))

Daily Wishes

I wish I could just take a train

Right to where you are

Whenever I feel lost and alone

A commute to heal my heart

**

I wish I could drive the miles

That separate our lives

Whenever I am overwhelmed

Traveling to the home I feel with you

**

I wish I could hop on a jet

And fly to where you live

Whenever I need a good long hug

A trip to feel I’m loved

**

I wish I could move towards you

And once again connect us as one

Whenever I miss you my friend

An adventure awaits to unite us

Mythical Dreams

If I could be anything

Anything I wanted to be

I’d be a beautiful mermaid

And live in the sea

I would love to swim

And play with the fish

Find sunken treasures

This is my favorite wish

But mermaids can be mean

And that just isn’t me

So maybe I’ll stay on land

And be a unicorn running free

Abracadabra

If only I had a magic wand.  I think I would start with about 6 to 8 extra hours a day.  I could maybe get enough sleep and still have extra time to get things done.  It seams I had another fibro flare with lots of fatigue and have missed posts the last couple of days.  I was going good and down to only 5 days behind and then fibro struck!  Now I am back to a week behind.  I STILL am hoping to get caught up before June.  So I may not have as many comments to make, but I promise to read all posts and hopefully be creative enough to come up with a few decent posts myself.

What would you want to do with a magic wand? Would they be world altering wishes or more individual?  What would you do with more hours in a day?

Pretty Please

She saw the star

Shoot across the sky

Closing her eyes

She made a wish

A wish of hope

That she would

Find him soon

The one true one

Who’d treat her right

The modicum of belief

She held for

Wishing on stars

Was all she had

to battle back

her overwhelming

Feelings of doubt

She had tried

Every superstition

Of luck she knew

She crossed her fingers

She rubbed a lucky penny

Found a four leaf clover

Wished on the first star

Nothing worked

She sighed and

Turned to go inside

Another day over

Another day alone

Fandango’s Friday Flashback – May 22

(I am about 2 hours past Friday but shhh, no one will notice.)

This week for Fandango’s Friday Flashback (FFF) we are going back to 2017 to this post for the daily prompt unmoored…

Castles In The Air

My hopes become unmoored

Along the sea of dreams,

To set sail on the night sky.

Drifting between the stars,

They trail down the milky way

Chasing comet tails.

They are searching for their destiny –

A vision in the darkness,

Of fantasy and wishes.
