When you were taken away from me
It was a huge loss in my life
The daily guidance you gave me
Suddenly was gone
And your insights on changes
That I grew to depend on
Are greatly missed
I am left floundering now
With no one to confide in
I knew you would have to go
But that made it no easier
I miss you with my whole heart
But know you no longer suffer
And that has to give me peace
To continue to exist without you
