Oh woe is me
For you see
Things are growing
And my allergies are showing
I sneeze all day
And what can I say
I sneeze at night
I am a fright
But if I take a pill
The sniffles I kill
And I can breathe
Without having to leave
The beautiful yard
Where I worked so hard
To grow my flowers
I weeded for hours
So be gone pollen
The suffering has fallen
I can sit in the sun
And have summer time fun

Spring does brings lots of allergies with it. Keep on taking your pills and enjoy the sun and garden
As a matter of fact I am going to the store today to get a refill on my allergy pills. 🌞🌺
Take care.
You write so beautifully and effortlessly, Leigha!! But if you really allergic to these seasonal changes , please do take care of yourself well.
Yeah, sadly I do suffer from allergies, but a lot of it is brought on by love – I am allergic to cats I discovered after I had them for years and I will not part with them, I just stock up on more Kleenex. Ha, ha! 🤧
I like birds. I mostly have birds as pets but they either fly away or die.
My great grandmother had a myna bird I remember named Sinbad. As I recall he spoke a fair amount of words and phrases.
I had a sparrow , then a Koel, parrots too they are boring. Mynas I had two , I am in love with mynas. They are the best. I love your gramps if she had mynahs.
